Smarthouse Films is an Amsterdam-based feature film and documentary production company working with authentic, fresh and challenging stories that have commercial and universal potential.

Its founder Danielle Guirguis has has worked on many award winning productions including Paul Verhoeven’s ‘Black Book’, ‘Stricken’ (‘Komt een vrouw bij de dokter’) by Reinout Oerlemans, ‘The Happy Housewife’ by Antoinette Beumer, ‘Furious’ (‘Razend’) by Dave Schram as well as many others, which have been selected and awarded at film festivals around the world.

Smarthouse operates sustainably. This means that we try to produce our projects as green as possible. Green filmmaking is our future!

We are currently looking for projects for development and co-production.
